The Police First and Last Time in Belgrade
BELGRADE (SEEcult.org) - British rock veterans The Police performed on June 24 for the first time in Belgrade, and it would be likely their last concert in front of Belgrade audience, regarding the announcement that their reunion world tour is also the last one.
Sting, Andy Summers and Stewart Copeland, attracted around 30,000 fans at Usce, where last year performed the Rolling Stones, also for the first time in their carrier.
The concert started at 10 PM with big hit Message in a Bottle, and after all other hits, finished after a hour and half.
American band Counting Crows opened the concert of The Police, who spent three days in Belgrade, but most of the time spent in hotel, according to local press.
The concert was organized by the Music Star Production, which was also credited for last year’s bringing the Rolling Stones in Budva and Belgrade.
